The Association of Business Schools Academic Journal Guide recently affirmed what many INFORMS members and staff have long known: the quality of INFORMS journals is outstanding.
Five INFORMS journals rank as Journals of Distinction. These journals are part of a unique club whose members are recognized world-wide as exemplars of excellence. To make this rating, journals have to be in the highest category of three out of the five non-university-based listings - Financial Times 45, Dallas List, VHB (German Academic Association for Business Research), Australian Deans' List, and CNRS (National Center for Scientific Research, France). The current high marks go to:
- Information Systems Research (category: information management)
- Marketing Science (category: marketing)
- Management Science (category: OR/MS)
- Operations Research (category: OR/MS)
- Organization Science (category: organization studies)
