ISMS Durable Goods Dataset 2
This dataset records customer response to a Christmas promotion campaign offered by a major U.S. consumer electronics retailer. There are 176,961 customers in the database, 88,336 of whom were mailed the promotion; 88,625 of whom were not. In-store sales during the promotion period are available for both sets of customers. There are 152 variables for each observation, most of which represent each customer’s purchase history before the promotion.

We charge a fee of $200 for ISMS members and $500 for non-members (you can become a member by joining at http://www.informs.org/Membership/Join-INFORMS-and-or-INFORMS-Communities ; note you can become a member of both INFORMS and ISMS or just ISMS). This nominal fee is used to cover administration costs. Funding support is available for students who cannot afford the fee (contact the President of ISMS in order to apply).
