COVID-19 Healthcare Resources

From Wuhan, China to Europe, and now the United States, healthcare systems are being tested as COVID-19 cases rise. Operations research and analytics experts are weighing in on what past research reveals about pandemics and how to make the right decisions to limit the spread of the coronavirus outbreak and the ripple effects it will undoubtedly cause on health services. The coronavirus spread and infection control efforts have been made worse by the stress on the supply chain as health systems gather critical items, like respirator masks and personal protective equipment to protect healthcare workers and maintain patient safety. As the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other public health officials respond to reduce the number of cases, INFORMS members and operations research knowledge is ensuring policymakers have the information needed to respond effectively. All INFORMS journal articles in this collection are free access to the public.

A collection of research, editorials, interviews, and other information featuring INFORMS thought leaders and their contributions to the public's understanding of the current coronavirus pandemic.
