ICORD 2001 will take place from 16 to 18 May 2001 in Berg-en-Dal, one of the scenic camps in the internationally known game park, the Kruger National Park, South Africa.The conference will be organized by ORSSA and sponsored by IFORS. This will be the fourth such conference and provides the first opportunity for those specifically in Africa to interact and discuss issues of OR in development, as well as to learn and share applications, tools and implementation experiences in developing countires. Africa can learn from the experiences of other developing countries as well as the developed world. This conference is therefore aimed at and of relevance to all those who believe OR can play a vital role in developing countries and specifically Africa.
