INFORMS Healthcare 2013, following in the footsteps of the Institute’s successful inaugural healthcare conference in Montreal two years ago, will be held June 23-26 at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile Hotel in Chicago.

With more than 400 extended abstracts already submitted, the conference is on track to have a repeat success of the 2011 event in Montreal. The conference aims to bring a diverse group of researchers and stakeholders together to share information and insights that can improve the long-term efficiency, effectiveness and quality of healthcare delivery. Presentations at INFORMS Healthcare 2013 will span a wide range of problems in the healthcare continuum that are amenable to data driven approaches. With contributions from synergistic fields including healthcare policy, clinical decision-making, global health, therapy and treatment delivery, public health and health informatics, the conference is well structured to present a comprehensive view of the tools and techniques being developed by our community to improve healthcare delivery within United States and around the world.

A number of INFORMS subdivisions, as well as key societies and organizations outside of INFORMS, are technical co-sponsors. With support from these organizations, the conference is expected to draw researchers, practitioners and clinicians from the United States, Canada, Europe and the developing world, offering a cross-cultural and multi-disciplinary view of healthcare systems.
