INFORMS News: Paul wins Undergraduate O.R. Prize

Alice Paul of Harvey Mudd College won the 2012 INFORMS Undergraduate Operations Research Prize for her paper, “Detecting Covert Members of Terrorist Networks.” Committee member Itir Karaesmen presented the award at the INFORMS Annual Meeting in Phoenix, Ariz.

The competition is held each year to honor a student of group of students who conducted a significant applied project or important theoretical or applied research in operations research or management science while enrolled as an undergraduate student.
