INFORMS News: CIST 2012 set for Oct. 13-14

The INFORMS Conference on Information Systems and Technology (CIST 2012) will be held Oct. 13-14, in Phoenix, Ariz., in conjunction with the INFORMS Annual Meeting. The theme of the conference is “Digital Society.”

Consumerization of IT and the rapid proliferation of digital products and services present a great opportunity for IS researchers to contribute in a significant way toward understanding and shaping the Digital Society. The conference will feature panels, keynote speakers and research papers that explore strategic, research and policy issues at the consumer, enterprise and societal levels.

Panel proposals that address the CIST 2012 theme are welcome. Panels will be one hour in duration and will typically feature two or more academic or industry subject matter experts.

Panel proposals should follow these guidelines: maximum of five pages (8.5” x 11”); 12-point font with one-inch margins on four sides, double-spaced.
