Winter Simulation Conference 2014

The Winter Simulation Conference (WSC) has been the premier international forum for disseminating recent advances in the field of systems simulation for more than 40 years. The longest-running conference devoted to simulation as a discipline, this year’s WSC will be held Dec. 7-10 in Savannah, Ga., at the Savannah International Trade & Convention Center and the adjacent Westin Savannah Harbor Resort. The theme for WSC 2014 is “Exploring Big Data through Simulation.”

Simulation is widely applied across a diverse range of endeavors. This is reflected in WSC 2014, which includes tracks devoted to manufacturing, big data simulation and decision-making, simulation optimization, hybrid simulation, homeland security, military applications and more. WSC offers an invaluable educational opportunity for both novices and experts alike, with a large segment of each program devoted to introductory and advanced tutorials. These are carefully designed to address the needs of simulation professionals at all levels of expertise, and are presented by prominent individuals in the field. Sunday vendor workshops, software tutorials and exhibits from leading software vendors are also featured at WSC 2014.
