Community Resources

The Resource Center contains information to help subdivision officers with their leadership responsibilities. You can find important information about how to run an election, how to order plaques and certificates for prizes and awards, as well as details about the structure and governance of INFORMS and the subdivisions.

The Subdivisions Council is charged with establishing effective communication between the subdivisions and the INFORMS Board. It consists of members selected by the members of subdivisions. The Chapters/Fora Committee provides support to the VP Chapters/Fora and the Sections/Societies Committee provides support to the VP Sections/Societies.

Here you will find a list of benefits awarded to members of subdivisions and several options for joining a subdivision. (online, fax, mail, email)

Would you like to set up a chapter in your area so local members can get connected with one another? Do you see an up and coming technical interest that our members might find interesting and challenging? The resources you need to investigate establishing a new subdivision are listed here.

Many INFORMS subdivisions have already started their social networking with LinkedIn groups, Facebook pages and Blogs
