Good Morning Program Committee and Simulation Experts,
Although the deadline has passed (oops!), we are still accepting abstracts for the Sixth Annual Enabling Technology for Simulation Science Conference to be held 1-5 Apr 2002 in Orlando, Florida. We will be accepting abstracts up until the end of this month.
Please feel free to submit an abstract on-line at:
http://butler2.spie.org/abstracts/absin.lasso?-token=or21
This is our chance to get out there and present our ideas to the rest of the Simulation Community. This Conference is "our" Conference and it just gets better every year because of you, our leading-edge experts in Simulation. With your help we can make this year even bigger and better than ever before with thought provoking discussions and solutions to problems we didn't even know we had. It's these futuristic and present tense approaches to simulation solutions that are new and exciting. And while some may be "out there", we need to disseminate this information to the widest audience possible, discuss and act on these approaches to further our advances in Simulation.
Please feel free to:
Suggest a topic that may be in your own area of expertise
Suggest a topic that you have heard about that you would like to know more about yourself
Chair a Session of your own and invite Participants
Suggest a Panel Session Theme & Participants
Suggest a Workshop Theme and Participants
Suggest a Poster Session Theme and Participants
Offer a Tutorial (these we would like to keep to a minimum)
Offer additional email addresses of individuals that you feel should be included in our mass mailing or has shown an interest in our conference in the past
Write and present a paper of your own
Or simply attend
Please take a look at the call for papers that we have included as an attachment to this email. Feel free to add to this list as you see fit and make suggestions. As quickly as technology evolves, our ideas for topics evolve as well. We would like to add a few more topics to our call for papers. Something to think about. They are:
Predictive Battlespace Awareness
Behavioral/Organizational/Character Modeling
Synthetic Battlespace Environments
We hope that each one of you will give it some thought and help us create a Conference that will be sure to make a difference to all of us and have a positive effect on even more. We look forward to hearing from you.

Dates to keep in mind:

Abstracts Due: 01 Oct 2001
We realize the actual deadline for abstracts has passed, yet we are still accepting abstracts. We would rather receive a quality abstract that was late than miss an opportunity. Please feel free to submit an abstract at this late date and invite anyone you feel would contribute to furthering interest within the simulation community.
