Amazon SCOT and INFORMS Fellowships

INFORMS is pleased to announce the Amazon SCOT and INFORMS Fellowships for undergraduate and graduate students to attend the 2021 INFORMS Annual Meeting, either virtually or in Anaheim, California, October 24-27. This fellowship program, sponsored by Amazon SCOT, aims to foster the professional pipeline of operations research, management science, and analytics researchers by providing undergraduate juniors and seniors as well as graduate students from underrepresented groups an opportunity to experience these exciting fields and gain professional development opportunities by attending the INFORMS Annual Meeting. Fellowships will provide conference registration. For those attending in-person, the fellowship will also provide hotel accommodations and reimburse reasonable transportation expenses.

INFORMS Scholarship

INFORMS is pleased to announce scholarships to be awarded to undergraduate students to attend the INFORMS Virtual 2020 Annual Meeting. This scholarship program aims to foster the professional pipeline of operations research, management science, and analytics researchers by providing undergraduate students an opportunity to experience academic and professional development by attending the INFORMS Virtual Annual Meeting. In 2020, scholarships will provide registrations for a limited number of students.

Seth Bonder Scholarships

The purpose of the Bonder Scholarship for Applied Operations Research in Military and Security Applications is to promote the development and application of process modeling and operations research (OR) analyses to defense-related applications, including military and national security issues. 

The Bonder Scholarship consists of an award of $4,000 ($US) that is intended to provide financial support for a promising new researcher. In addition, the scholarship recipient will be eligible for up to $1,000 ($US) of travel funding to support their participation in Military and Security Society activities at the annual INFORMS conference. An additional $2,000 ($US) award is provided and funded by the Seth Bonder Foundation.  INFORMS will waive the Annual Meeting registration fee for scholarship recipients. The tenure of the award is one year.
