The main aim of these seminars is to try to bring together people
working in or around the area of computational biology. The seminars
are also different from what is usually understood by this term in the
sense that as much time is left for discussions, both during and after
the talks, as for the presentations themselves. Each series of
seminars concentrates on a particular theme. The public is in general
very mixed, composed of computer scientists, mathematicians and
biologists. The 14th series will be a bit special, in the sense that
it will have a didactic aim as well as its more traditional objective
of allowing for the presentation of up-to-date research in the field
of computational biology.
There are *no* registration fees. The seminars are therefore free and
open to all. However, in order to allow for a better organization of
the event, we ask those interested in attending (to all or part of the
series) to tell us of their intention as soon as possible by sending a
simple message to the email address: [email protected].
