THEME & SCOPE
The 7th International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Natural Computing, 2005 (CINC 2005) seeks to foster the interdisciplinary exchange of ideas leading to significant advances in the areas of computational intelligence and natural computing. The conference provides a truly unique forum for presentation and collaboration across disciplines. The organizers seek high-quality original papers. All topics relating to computational intelligence and natural computation are welcome and new, unusual and hybrid approaches are particularly encouraged. Both theoretical and application-oriented papers are solicited. All papers will be subject to a rigorous review process. Areas from which papers are sought, including but are not limited to:
Ant Colony Optimization, Artificial Immune Systems, Artificial Life, Bioinformatics, Constraint Handling, Coevolution, DNA Computing, Evolutionary Programming, Evolutionary Strategies, Genetic Algorithms, Genetic Programming, Intelligent Agents, Multiobjective Optimization, Particle Swarm Optimization, Memetic Algorithms, Neural Networks, Swarm Intelligence.
VENUE
CINC 2005 will be held at Salt Lake City Marriott City Center, Salt Lake City, Utah, USA between July 21-26, 2005.
PROCEEDINGS
All accepted papers will be included in the high-quality official conference proceedings of JCIS 2005 that will be available in CD-ROM format.
JOURNAL PUBLICATIONS
Authors are encouraged to submit extended versions of their papers to a new journal entitled Bio-inspired Computing, subject to further review. Selected papers from CINC 2003 will be published in a special issue of this journal. A similar special issue is planned for CINC 2005.
Additionally, papers submitted to JCIS will be considered for publication in another established journal, Information Sciences.
