The main characteristics of the school are:
* it is an annual event, for graduate students and post docs;
* it has a distinguished multidisciplinary flavour;
* it is application oriented.
The school will be held in Lavagna (near Genova) from
8 to 20 September 2003.
A maximum of 30 students will be admitted.
Applications have to be submitted not later than 30 April 2003.
