The workshop is especially focused on providing opportunities for junior researchers to present their most recent work. The workshop series consists of a single track of invited talks. MIP 2011 is scheduled immediately following IPCO XV, which will take place at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights, NY from June 15-17 (http://ipco2011.uai.cl).

The workshop is designed to provide ample time for discussion and interaction between the participants, as one of its aims is to facilitate research collaboration.
