These events will both be held at the University of Florida Hotel and Conference Center in Gainesville, Florida. The purpose of these conferences is to bring together academic researchers and practitioners to discuss leading edge research and applications in these areas, and to identify new areas of exploration in these fields. The first of these events will be a National Science Foundation co-sponsored Workshop on Collaboration and Negotiation in Supply Chain Management and eCommerce, while the second will be a Conference on Optimization in Supply Chain Management and eCommerce. The goals of these events and the target audiences are described in more detail below.
