Event Details/Other Comments:

The early years of the new millennium have brought with them promised advances in technologies, especially information technology, which has long been acknowledged as a vital tool for decision-making. However, it has not followed that decision-making has accordingly been improved. On the contrary, the Asian recovery has stalled, the US economic boom has grounded to a halt and Europe is not faring much better. What is amiss? How well do we understand these fast changing technologies? Are we making the best use of all these technological advances? Are they really helping or are they actually hurting decision-making? This conference will carry on the theme started at the last conference. Academics, and practitioners alike, will review and probe deeper into the subjects to try to get a better grip of the new speed-of-light world in the hope that we shall be able to understand and make the best use of our better tools.
The Conference invites researchers and practitioners to submit papers under the following topics: Accounting; Actuarial science; Finance; e-Business; Human Resource Management; Organization Behaviour; International Business; Management Information Systems; Decision Support Systems; Manufacturing Practices & Technology; Research & Development; Marketing; Operations Management; Public Sector Applications; Quantitative Methods & Statistics; Strategic Management; Regional Development & Demography; Impact of Macro-Policies; Management of NPO/NGO. Also, paper reviewers, panel discussants, and session chairs are needed for a successful program. Please contact conference academic affair coordinator at the provided contact address to indicate one's interest in participation.
