CALL FOR PAPERS
The XXXIV Annual Convention of the Operational Research Society of India (ORSI) and an International Conference on 'Operations Research and National Development' will be held December 27 - 29, 2001 in Calcutta under the auspices of the Calcutta Chapter of ORSI and in collaboration with the Department of Business, Management and Accounting, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Princess Anne, Maryland (USA).
The theme of the conference is 'Operations Research and National Development'
Competitive application and research papers or abstracts are invited in, but not limited to, the topic areas listed below:
Health Care Management
Financial Management
Environment Management
Communication and IT
Educational Management
Decision Support System
Global Management
Mathematical Programming
Queuing Theory and Simulation
Network Models Inventory Control
Logistics & Supply Chain
Submissions will be blind refereed and those accepted will be published in the Conference Proceedings. Authors must submit two copies of papers/abstracts within 300 words in a floppy disk or typed on A-4 size bond paper with double space. The last date of receiving papers/abstracts is July 31, 2001.
