OR/MS Tomorrow Mini Poster Competition

It's open to students around the globe! Share your research idea on one page!

The ability to summarize and articulate research ideas effectively and efficiently is vitally important. To nurture student researchers in developing these skills, OR/MS Tomorrow is running our very first mini poster competition with the generous support from the Bonder Foundation!

The competition is open to all students, including current INFORMS members and non-members. Candidates are required to design one letter sized or A4 page to communicate their research topic to the broader audience in the OR/MS community. We accept submissions in three groups: undergraduate students, graduate students (master) and PhD students. Two winners will be chosen from each group based on the novelty of topic, maturity of content, quality of information engagement and aesthetics. In addition to cash prizes, the winning posters will be published in the Fall/Winter 2020 issue of OR/MS Tomorrow and the winners will receive an electronic certificate in celebration of their achievements.

Deadline: October 30, 2020.

Submission requirements:

  • The mini poster must be original.
  • The author must be a student at the time of submission. For undergraduate students, author can enter as an individual or a team with a maximum of 5 students. For master and PhD students, we accept only one author per poster.
