Science is under attack. President Donald Trump on Monday fired another volley in his ongoing trade war, announcing 25% tariffs on steel and aluminum imports and canceling exemptions and duty-free quotas for major suppliers.

‘If the intent is to have more of these products produced in the U.S., that could happen, but it will take time.’
