• The paper by Lee ". . . sets a good solid example of how OR should be done . . . introduces measurement of human memory performance into scientific analysis . . . should be widely useful in stimulating studies of other control systems using short term human memory." In addition, the Committee felt that this article presented an excellent and completely rounded OR case history, from problem statement through ad hoc and original research to solution and implementation.
