Purpose of the Award
The INFORMS Junior Faculty Interest Group (JFIG) Forum invites submissions to the INFORMS JFIG Teaching Excellence Award, an annual national award recognizing excellence in teaching in operations research and management science (ORMS). The INFORMS JFIG was created in 2001 to promote the career development of tenure- track faculty in INFORMS. The goal of the teaching excellence award is to acknowledge and celebrate junior faculty that are doing an outstanding job inside the classroom. The JFIG teaching award committee will judge the applications and select 3 finalists.
