Purpose of the Award
The purpose of the Robert G. Sargent Simulation Scholarship is to provide one $5000 scholarship annually to a Ph.D. student working on their doctoral dissertation in simulation. The scholarship recipient must be enrolled in a Ph.D. program at a university in the United States, must expect to complete their Ph.D. degree requirements between six and eighteen months from the application due date, and must be a member of the INFORMS Simulation Society.
