The Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS^®), the leading professional association in advanced analytics, will host six finalist organizations competing for the 2015 INFORMS Franz Edelman Award. The competition takes place on Monday, April 13 during the 2015 INFORMS Conference on Business Analytics & Operations Research, which will be held at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa. The Prize is the world’s most prestigious recognition for excellence in applying advanced analytics to benefit business and humanitarian outcomes.

The prize was announced at a banquet on Monday, April 1 in Boston at the 2014 INFORMS Conference on Business Analytics and Operations Research.

BOSTON, April 4, 2014 - The Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS) today announced that the 2013-2014 Gary L. Lilien ISMS-MSI Practice Prize was awarded to Martin Natter and Ju-Young Kim, Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany and Ana-Marija Ozimec, ENTEGA GmbH & Co. KG, Germany  for their work “ECO: Entega’s Profitable New Customer Acquisition on Online Price Comparison Sites.”
